Not registered? No Problem. Voter Registration for the Primary is open until August 3rd.

After August 3rd, you can register and vote early at the Fremont County Elections Office. 

On Election Day, August 18th, you can go to any Vote Center and register and vote.

Bring your Drivers License to register to vote. Other forms of ID may be accepted.

If you are already registered and want to declare party affiliation to vote in the Wyoming Republican Primary, you must do so by May 13th at the Fremont County Elections Office!

Bring your driver's license any time you wish to make a change to your registration. Other forms of ID may be accepted.

You can vote in person between July 21st and August 17th at the Fremont County Election Office at 450 North 2nd Street, Room 120 in Lander. They are open from 8-5 each weekday.

You can request an absentee ballot at any time during the calendar year in which the election is held, but not on the day of the election. Absentee voting begins on July 21st, 2026.

To request an absentee ballot, contact the Fremont County Clerk's Office. You will need to provide your full name, residence address, mailing address, and date of birth. Remember to ensure that your absentee ballot is returned to your County Clerk’s office by 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Yes! The following forms of identification are accepted:

• WY Driver's License or ID Card 
• Tribal ID Card 
• Valid US Passport
